Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital has an Emergency Care Center that aim to provide high quality and timely care by team of multidisciplinary Emergency doctors and nurses supported by other Specialties within SKGH and neighboring hospitals. The Emergency department is equipped to handle a wide variety of non-major trauma as well general medical and childhood emergencies.
In addition, the unit has a dedicated and registered helipad for emergency access and transfers and an onsite 24 Hour ambulance service for those patients who require specialized care in other facilities.
