The hospital’s Ophthalmology department is state of the art consisting of 3 eye examination rooms, diagnostic units fitted with modern slit lamp, indirect ophthalmoscope, OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography), Pentacam (Corneal Topography), Visual Field Machine, Ultrasound, Specular Microscope and a variety of diagnostic lenses. The department offers laser treatment for treatment of retinal problems such as diabetic retinopathy, different kinds of glaucoma, retinopathy of prematurity, retinal tears and after-cataract. The operating theatre is well equipped for modern suture-less cataract microsurgery and other ophthalmic surgical procedures.
